Meadow’s Pride Farm

Meadow’s Pride Farm, owned and operated by Jon and Patricia Donaldson and their family, is located just outside the town of Monterey, Virginia. They specialize in all natural lamb products.

Jon, Patricia, Emily, Sarah, and Annie Donaldson.

Jon and Patricia Donaldson have been farming all of their lives. For the past fourteen years, they have been farming with their family here in Highland County. They have been at their current location for the past ten years and have a well established garden as well as a system for rotating their sheep and cattle. The Donaldsons grow strawberries, garlic, heritage tomatoes, colored sweet peppers, eggplant, cucumbers and other produce without sprays or chemicals. They utilize high tunnels for season extension and heat-loving plants. Meadow’s Pride Farm is also home to a number of beehives from which produce raw honey. The Donaldsons also practice year-round lambing schedule making lambs available consistently throughout the year. The livestock is grass- and hay-fed with non-GMO grain supplements.
